Hyde Park Inn

We barely needed the car during our family trip. The reservation included parking, a real luxury in an area where spaces are hard to find and expensive. The Museum Tram station and bus stop are right out front, with the light tram a short walk away. Sea life Sydney, Darling Harbour, and other attractions are walkable, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Our room was very spacious, and being on a high floor gave us a perfect view. I wouldn't bother booking breakfast, though. It was just toast, jam, honey, and milk, which you could buy cheaper and in larger quantities yourself. I'd definitely book here again.

We had a very pleasant stay in the standard studio. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a really lovely shower. The park view would've been nice, but the windows desperately needed cleaning and we could barely see through them. Staff were helpful, though distant and not especially welcoming. The hotel is perfectly placed near Museum Station.

The room was spacious, with a small balcony, and the beds were comfortable. Train and bus stops are across the road, and the hotel is in a great spot. Staff were friendly. I booked for 3 people, but there were only 2 bath towels. The toilet paper was almost gone with no spare roll, and the body wash ran out after the first day. Breakfast was poor: a few slices of toast, some juice, and only one spread besides butter. There wasn't any tea on the counter either.

Kind, responsive staff and a clean, quiet room with a very usable kitchenette. Great value for such a large room, and it's easy to walk to several places around Sydney. Traffic outside can be a bit noisy early in the night, but nothing unbearable.
