The location makes it easy to get to Coogee Beach, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and clubs on foot. There's also a lobby bar and restaurant facing the beach. We spent two nights at the International Continental Coogee Beach and found the hotel nicely refitted, with friendly, accommodating staff. Our clean fourth-floor room was finished to a high standard. The bathroom was nice and the king bed very comfortable. I liked having Nespresso pods in the room, coffee craving sorted, lol. The pool deck has towels, sunbeds, canopies, and a pool bar, though it's not a swim-up bar. We enjoyed our stay.

The Ocean View Junior Suite had lovely ocean-inspired decor, and the view across Coogee Beach was especially beautiful at sunset. Club InterContinental was a real highlight, with welcoming, attentive staff who checked in on us, excellent food made with fresh local ingredients, and a relaxing evening happy hour with sparkling wine and a sea breeze. Since we visited over Easter, turndown came with festive treats, and we also received a beach bag. Thanks to the Club InterContinental team for looking after us, and to the professional front office team. We had an issue with the room on our second and third nights, but the front office sorted it out quickly and professionally. One practical thing for overseas visitors: the in-room TV said electrical adaptors were available, but none were when we asked, so bring your own. We had a lovely five-day beachfront stay in a cozy room and would be glad to return to the IC Sydney Coogee Beach Resort.

The sea view and superb location made this a lovely stay, with shops only a short walk away. Our room was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast felt a little short-staffed, and there wasn't much seating or shade around the pool. Still, we had a great time here for the view and location.

Quinton at the concierge set a high bar for service. Everyone was friendly, and the hotel was clean with great views. The pool wasn't open yet, but it'll make the place even better once it is. A great stay, and I'd recommend getting breakfast too.

The rooms are modern, clean, well equipped, and excellent. The staff were great too, though the bar and restaurant could use more people. We waited at least 15 minutes to order a second drink. I hadn't been back for a few years, and the place has since become an intercontinental. It has been refreshed from top to bottom, and the location by the beach and coogee high street is super. Definitely recommended.
