You can stroll along the foreshore from Rushcutters Bay Park to Yarranabbe Park, then head to the nearby Edgecliff shopping centre. The park has an outdoor fitness station and two sports fields for cricket, rugby union and soccer. It’s also a nice spot for a sunny picnic or a coffee beside the playground.
The view across the bay is a lovely extra, and the park kiosk is a great place to relax with a meal, snack, delicious cake, one of the best coffees around, or freshly made juice. There are plenty of other choices too. The park is fabulous and dog friendly: dogs can be off leash during certain hours and must be on leash 24/7. I’d think most local residents bring their dogs there for exercise each day.
The playground seems aimed at kids under five, with one slide, two swings and a small rope climber. There’s a small grassy patch for free play, benches for parents, and street parking.
There’s a huge park here, really good.
There’s a kids’ play area and toilets, and most days you’ll find a cafe too. It’s a lovely spot to unwind or bring family and friends.
