Mantra on Kent

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly. I liked that the room was a good size and quiet, apart from other guests letting their doors slam. The king size bed was two sloping singles pushed together, which wasn’t comfortable. The shower temperature kept switching between too hot and cold, and the water pressure was really poor. Rooms should also have filtered water. I’d come back if the beds were replaced.

The studio suite was spacious enough, and the apartment is good value, especially for an Accor member. It’s a good location for walking to Darling Harbour/Square, QVb, and Pitt St. Some areas of the room look and feel dated, but they’re well maintained. There’s no keycard tap needed in the elevator to reach the room floor. We also noticed there’s no CCTV in the lift or floor corridor. After hours, the main entrance has a lockout period and you need to tap your room key to enter. You also need the key to get into your room. A good family service-apartment overall.

The room at Mantra on Kent was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so we could relax. The location is central and convenient, with easy access to shops, dining, and transport. Joseph deserves a special mention. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make everything perfect. His service made an already wonderful stay even better. Highly recommend Mantra on Kent, and we’ll definitely stay again.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The location was great, right beside QVB and just a 6,7 minute walk from town hall station. The studio had most of the amenities, including plates, dish washing liquid, and a microwave. The bathroom seemed recently updated, I think. The staff were friendly. The room was clean overall, though there was a little dust on the bedside table. The bed and linen were comfortable and clean, even for someone who cares a lot about cleanliness.
