Moxy Sydney Airport

The staff made the stay for me. Every interaction felt easy and genuine, without the scripted hotel talk, just good people doing a good job. The bar was a nice surprise too. I planned to head out but ended up staying for a couple of drinks. Good atmosphere, drinks, and crowd. It's an airport hotel, so you'd need an Uber to get anywhere, but there's enough going on inside that I was happy to stay put. I wasn't sure what to expect from Moxy, but I left really impressed. It has a great vibe and feels like a fun, well-run hotel that knows what it is. The room was small, but laid out smartly, fresh, and clean. I slept great, everything worked, and there were zero issues. I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Sydney. A solid choice if you want something a bit different from the usual hotel experience.

The Moxy near Sydney Airport really delivered, from check-in right through checkout. Check-in was so exceptional that I stopped to find a manager before going to my room, just to say how impressed I was. I don't usually do that. They upgraded me to the executive floor, the 12th, without me asking, and made sure I had everything I needed. The bar staff were a chill team. We chatted about Melbourne nightlife (always eats 😝) and travelling back to Indonesia, including great foodie spots. The drinks were excellent, and I'm particular about cocktails. I was also surprised to get a complimentary cocktail on arrival. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, consider yourself warned. Breakfast was 11/10. I wanted seconds but had overslept for my flight, and I'm blaming that on the comfy bed. 🤭 The staff genuinely cared about the guest experience instead of just going through the motions. When service, comfort, and hospitality come together like that, it builds loyalty at every customer touch point. I'll definitely be back. 💜

For a comfortable, convenient stay, Moxy worked really well and I’d happily return. The food was good, the bar service excellent, and the price was great value. I felt welcome and settled in quickly. One thing to sort out: the early airport shuttle wasn’t clearly marked, so it was hard to tell which bus was the shuttle and which was for tourists. That seems like an easy fix.

For a quick work trip, this was just what I needed for one night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it had everything I expected from a handy airport hotel. Staff at reception, the bar, and breakfast were all great with customers. The hotel has fun extras too, including a record room and free skee-ball. The rooms have a funky, stylish look. I’d stay again.
