The place was spotless, with lovely decor, and the staff were polite, friendly and happy to help with anything. I ate in the bistro and ordered the seniors menu, slow-cooked beef pie with mash and peas. It was probably the best pie I’ve had. The service was impeccable, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Great location, with the bus stop right outside and free parking. It’s only 20-30 minutes from the CBD. The rooms are amazing, though some Booking photos should be updated. The best pictures are hard to see.

We hadn’t been to this pub for a few years, so we stopped in for lunch today. It’s been renovated and looks great. The crispy chicken burger with chips and the buramundi with polenta cake and red peppers both looked beautiful and tasted next-level delicious. The lunch was sensational. Desserts could use some improvement, but I can’t wait to come back.

The service and atmosphere were good, and the place was very clean. The rump steak tasted good, but it was clearly 250gm rather than the 300gm it was supposed to be. At $44, it wasn't worth it.

Staff were dismissive and communication was poor when we reported that strangers had unlocked our room door. We tried to get the problem fixed, but it was never resolved. We've never had that happen at any hotel before, even lower-star places and motels. It felt more like a bar with rooms than a hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're willing to go cheap at the expense of your safety and privacy.
