Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour

The room was good, right next to the lift, and the balcony had a view of the Opera House. I stayed here last Sunday, and everything was good apart from not finding a second rubbish bin. The only one I could find was in the bathroom. It was very kind of them to give the kids a free meal too. They’re kid-friendly.

Great location and views, and the complimentary breakfast was tasty. But there was mould and dust in all the AC vents, which affected my kids’ asthma. The rooms need updating and didn’t feel five-star to me. It seemed like you’re paying for the view.

The waterfront walk had beautiful views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and the Royal Botanic Gardens are just around the bend. Getting to the international terminal, the CBD and even across the water to Manly was easy right from the hotel. There’s plenty of dining and shopping along the docks and The Rocks. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, with lots of choice, tea, juice and a proper espresso. Don’t skip it if it’s offered. My room was spotless, and after a long, rainy trip downtown, the jetted tub was just what I needed. The staff and property were clean, efficient and genuinely thoughtful. I was offered a complimentary bevvie from the bar after a small wait for my suite to be cleaned. My stay at the Pullman Quay Grand was lovely and worth every cent. I’m bringing my Mum next time. Trains and ferries were easy to reach, as were Sydney’s main sightseeing spots. The hotel also had a pristine pool and gym, plus a lovely breakfast. Check-in was seamless, the staff were efficient, and the thoughtfully designed room made it easy to relax. It was a rejuvenating stay in Sydney.
