I left because I didn’t feel safe. The manager Otto shouted at me aggressively for no reason, and I was scared enough to consider calling the police. Staff were rude and aggressive too. One of them entered my room while I was away, took my stuff and moved it to another room without asking. They made me change rooms three times in one week because of painting, and the smell was unhealthy. There were cockroaches, including in the bathroom. I have more to say, but that’s enough. Choose somewhere else, it was a terrible experience.

The rooms are spacious, and it’s a nice, simple place that feels like home. Don Otto really helped us enjoy our time in Sidney.

The room was clean and the price was good for a hotel, but this place is better thought of as a hostel with a very grumpy owner. The service felt about as far from hospitable as it could.

It felt welcoming and homely, and the accommodation was clean and tidy. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly.

A fun, stylish spot in Bondi Beach for a quick drink or something to eat.
