The location was great, and the atmosphere felt friendly and safe. Reception was welcoming, the staff were approachable, and the rooms were spotless with all the essentials. Housekeeping came through multiple times. Parking was secure and allocated. The signs were small and confusing, but we eventually had no issues.

I booked through a third party and left early for personal safety reasons, without spending a single night of the five-night booking. I told reception the night before and formally checked out the next morning, but no refund was offered because of a strict reading of the cancellation policy. The policy itself wasn't what disappointed me most. It was the complete lack of flexibility or empathy when I hadn't used any of the accommodation. I'd expect a more humane response in those circumstances. The whole experience felt procedural rather than customer-focused, and the hotel and booking agent kept passing responsibility back and forth. I wouldn't stay here again, and would advise others to think carefully about the risk if their plans change unexpectedly. I don't need a generic or insincere reply to this review. Thank you.

The rooms were excellent, comfortable and relaxing, and right opposite Top Ryde Hotel. Check-in was the one sour note: the front desk man wasn't very friendly, didn't smile or say much, then was too busy to respond when I handed in the key early the next morning. He may have been talking on his mobile as I left. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

We were in Ryde for a conference and the location worked perfectly for our team's overnight stay. The shopping centre right across the road came in handy for last-minute supplies. Our room was comfortable, nicely equipped and quiet, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The price was fantastic too. We'd happily stay again.
