The apartments have everything needed to cook for yourselves, and there’s just enough space for four. The beds were comfortable, with great sheets, towels and toiletries. They also feel very secure, with a pass required even for the lifts. The location works well for sightseeing around Sydney, though I’d call it Kings Cross rather than Potts Point. Cleanliness could have been better: some things were dusty, and under the beds looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We stayed Tuesday through Friday. The club next door made the noise quite high once it opened on Thursday, so midweek was good, but I wouldn’t choose to stay from Thursday into the weekend.

I gave them my arrival time well in advance, but when I got there nobody was around. Calls went unanswered for a while, and after about 20 minutes of trying, someone finally picked up and said he needed to contact his manager to get the keys. Communication was terrible. Bloody awful experience, I’ll never stay here again.

The apartment was good quality, and the location made it easy to reach buses, trains and a supermarket, with the harbour just a short walk away. Storage was a problem in one of the bedrooms, which had very little space and nowhere to put clothes. The nightclub above the building was loud for hours on many nights. Sometimes I couldn’t get to sleep until 4am, even after it had closed.

It was really loud from Thursday to Sunday night because of the clubs nearby, and the windows didn’t close properly. The cleaning wasn’t done well either. They also take a bond that you have to fight to get back.

The apartment was clean and had all the equipment we needed. Ours faced Bayswater Road, and Saturday turned into a party night, with noise going on past 3. The other days were quiet, but I’d avoid staying there on a Saturday.
