The kindness of the staff turned a potentially stressful moment into something we’ll remember forever. We were eloping in Sydney and had booked a room at The Darling, but check-in wasn’t until 3pm and we needed somewhere to get changed before the ceremony. A lovely woman in the valet area noticed us taking clothes from the luggage cart to change in the pool changing rooms. She stopped what she was doing, contacted reception and, completely unexpectedly, arranged a complimentary upgrade to a huge corner suite. It meant the world to us on such a special day. The team then took our bags and clothes and delivered everything to the room so we could get ready in time. Francisca helped us and was warm, accommodating and lovely throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, and every staff member we met was professional and friendly, making us feel celebrated. Highly, highly recommend The Darling for a special occasion.

Our room at The Darling Sydney was breathtaking, with a huge luxury spa that made the stay feel extra indulgent. The attention to detail and atmosphere were lovely, and room service brought a range of delicious options promptly and with a smile. Every meal added to the pampered feeling. We were upgraded to a stunning room and greeted with exceptional service as soon as we arrived. We loved every moment and didn’t want to leave. For a luxurious escape in Sydney, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We stayed two nights in a suite and had a wonderful time at The Darling hotel. We’ve stayed in many five star hotels, but this room was better than most. The small extra touches made a big difference, and the rooms were spotless. Superb bedding, with feather down doonas and pillows, made it feel like sleeping in our own bed. Most hotels use polyester bedding. The service and location were as good as it gets.

The hotel is beautiful, and our room was spacious with lots of extras, including tea cups, spoons, wine glasses, robes and slippers. The shower and bathroom area was interesting, though not ideal with children, but it worked. We were in Sydney for a long weekend and stayed three nights. Our flight arrived early, so it was nice that the hotel stored our luggage until check-in.

Scott greeted us at check-in and made us feel right at home. He even helped arrange a lovely room upgrade for my wife's birthday. We had a great time using the facilities and enjoyed the food too. From arriving to checking out, everything was amazing. Scott's a legend, and this might be our favourite hotel now. We'll definitely return.
