I stayed two nights for a work event and really liked the rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom and overall room looked more modern than I expected. There was a pod coffee machine and all the amenities. Because we were with a large group, breakfast was catered on site in the front dining hall. The food was lovely, and staff were friendly and helpful. There’s beautiful nature all around, and the pool was relaxing. I especially enjoyed watching the sunset from it. It’s also a short walk to the local cafe, pub, and servo, and we enjoyed walking over to the ferry. A great place to stay if you want to enjoy Wisemans Ferry.

The grounds stretch all the way to the river, with a lovely spot for a picnic or barbecue. It’s a beautiful, sprawling property, and the town pub, grocery store, and breakfast cafe are just a stone’s throw away. The nights were super quiet and peaceful. We arrived in the early afternoon and were thankfully allowed to check in ahead of time. We also got a free room upgrade, which was much appreciated. Great amenities. I look forward to coming back in winter for a bonfire evening.

We had a family weekend here for my birthday, with around 20 guests, and there was something for everyone: a 25m pool, a smaller kids pool, BBQ areas, tennis courts, table tennis, and a pool table. The sunsets and surrounds are gorgeous. The rooms have been renovated recently, so they’re clean and modern with floorboards. The staff were warm and friendly, and went out of their way to make the weekend great. Big thanks to Kristin. The mattresses were a little hard, and the air conditioning wasn’t the best, though we were there during the 40degrees heatwave. The onsite restaurant wasn’t open yet and was due to open in Feb 2026. It would have been great to have restaurant and breakfast options, but there are cafes across the road and a very short distance away. We’ll definitely be back.

A lovely riverside wedding venue, with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space and a flexible indoor reception area. Having accommodation on site makes it ideal for a relaxed, all-in-one celebration. It’s always a pleasure creating florals here, and the team and management are friendly.

We eventually had to take our booking elsewhere after a frustrating start trying to arrange a retreat for 30+ guests. The representative repeatedly scheduled calls for specific times but didn’t follow through. We also received several emails saying she was out of the office due to unforeseen circumstances, with no alternative contact offered. Occasional issues are understandable, but this happened more than once. Reliable communication matters when organising a large group event, and this experience felt inconsistent and unprofessional.
