Sayoma was professional and went above and beyond with customer service. I had a great view from my room, and the housekeeping was consistently on the ball. The hotel, room, and design were beautiful, and my stay was good overall. The cafe food was good, though the coffee wasn't great, and the compact gym was very good. The check-in with the really tall Indian man was the worst hotel check-in I've ever had. Shaun, an Australian Asian man, and the really tall Australian-Indian man were incredibly rude on several occasions. I've never been treated that rudely at a hotel, and I didn't feel they were rainbow friendly at all. Michael was more professional and helped me set up Netflix. If he hadn't, I would have checked out.

After a 12-hour drive, that comfortable bed was just what I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Sydney. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and my dog felt loved and at home. I was surprised to find a dog bed, food and water bowls, and a lovely treat in our room. The room was nice, but parking around the area on weekdays was terrible. Hotel parking costs $20 a day. Avoid rooms near the hydraulic room, especially anything ending in 04 or nearby. There was a loud, high-pitched hum early in the morning and at night. Also, room cleaning came in without knocking or warning anyone inside.

We were here for three nights for a family memorial, travelling with our daughter and her husband, and the rooms made it easy to spend time together while still having our own space. The ensuite rooms were spacious, both had king beds and lovely modern furniture and decor, and there was a roomy lounge. One room had a kitchen, the other a kitchenette, and the rooms connected. We paid to park in the building and had breakfast in the ground-floor dining area once. We were pleasantly surprised and highly recommend Veriu Macquarie Park.

I've stayed here a few times and really like the rooms. Having a coffee machine and a washer-dryer is a nice bonus. There's an in-house cafe and a chill-out area, and the staff are lovely. The bus into the city and the metro are both within walking distance.
