Villawood Hotel

Vini is a great manager and clearly knows how to run a hotel. He was very polite and professional. Great cold beer, a great atmosphere, and well done to the staff.

Vin, the floor manager, made the stay for me. He went out of his way to make sure I was settled and comfortable, and was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You could tell he takes pride in the place. Big thanks to Vin and the team! The rooms at Villawood Hotel were clean and well kept, with a comfy bed, air-con, bar fridge, and decent shower. They were surprisingly quiet for a place above a lively pub, and the stay was great value. The sports bar was a bonus, with a good atmosphere, decent food and drinks, and a good TAB setup if you’re into racing or footy. Parking was easy, and I appreciated the free Wi-Fi. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The staff’s hospitality made me feel really welcome. I loved it.

I stayed one night in this motel and, my God, it was filthy. Nothing seemed to have been cleaned. Cockroaches ran across the floor, with dead ones and a live one in the bathroom and shower. Paint was peeling from the ceilings, and mould was coming through in the main room. The king-size bed was falling apart and should be taken to the tip. I could feel it collapsing in every part. I’ve never stayed anywhere so old and worn out. I spoke to staff several times and got little to no response. They didn’t offer a refund, and the staff seemed like they didn’t want to know me. Cheap and extremely nasty. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
