W Sydney

The Public Bar’s secret space was a fantastic spot for our group, and the service was attentive and professional from beginning to end. Sanokil recently stayed at W Sydney and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Everyone enjoyed the accommodation. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and beautifully designed, and the whole experience felt smooth and elevated. It worked equally well for relaxing and hosting. Highly recommend W Sydney for comfortable, clean rooms, stylish spaces, and great service.

Housekeeping let the stay down. I’d accidentally left a t-shirt under a pillow, and it was still in exactly the same spot when I got back, so it seemed the bed hadn’t been properly made. The restaurant food was mediocre at best. On the plus side, the location on Darling Harbour is great, and service at the restaurants and check-in was good.

The room was a bit cramped, though it was nice and comfortable. My friend booked it, so I’m not sure which room type it was. I came to review the bar first: it’s cosy, especially by the windows, and the cocktails were outstanding. I tried the lycheesu and karasu, and both were amazing. Kudos to the bartender. Great service too, and I can’t wait to come back!

Keena, the Food & Beverage Coordinator, really made our stay. Guest relations overall were fairly average, but she was on another level. We got to know her a little and learned she’s from Thailand. Her genuine hospitality made us feel, for a moment, as if we were at a luxury resort there. That personal touch mattered, especially for the significant amount we spent on a New Year’s Eve stay. The rooms are amazing, and breakfast was excellent. The main restaurant was a standout too, with genuinely delicious food and an à la carte dinner menu that was very reasonably priced. The pool and most of the other restaurants were quite average. Housekeeping needs work, particularly in the common areas. Our room itself was clean and we had no complaints there. A beautiful hotel, made much better by staff like Keena.
