Whispering Pines Cottages

We felt right at home in Apple Blossom Cottage, our second stay with Whispering Pines Cottages. Monique had the place spotless and left lots of extras, including plenty of movies, books and games. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms nicely done, and we arrived to a warm cottage with the log fire going and lamps on. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a proper teapot and slow cooker, and a bath was welcome after all our walks. We made good use of the sunny back balcony and its comfortable seats, and the front verandah was lovely too. The cold weather got us out walking, and the air in this spectacular area was crisp and clean. The street is quiet. We also recommend The Conservation Hut Café, an easy walk down the road. A couple of practical things: the television was hard to watch from the seating and might work better near the couch, perhaps in the opposite corner. There’s secure parking inside the gated property, but no garage or carport, which we usually look for. Leura cottage has a great carport at the back. Monique is a delightful, respectful host and does a great job with these cottages. You won’t regret booking with her. Jen & Trev

We had plenty of room, and the place was comfortable and well equipped. Sitting out on the deck, we even met a couple of the locals (pictured). The falls are about a 15-minute walk away, and the village is a short drive, with some nice cafes and boutiques. My sister-in-law booked this lovely little spot as part of her Australia trip and invited us up from Canberra. We plan to return to the Blue Mountains and really hope we can stay here again.

We found Apple Blossom Cottage (#41) in Wentworth Falls cosy, spotless and just right for a peaceful break. The crisp linen and gas log fire were particular highlights. It had everything we needed to make our time in the Blue Mountains special. Monique was efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Monique was lovely to deal with, and we had a really nice stay in this lovely home. It’s in a great location and was so clean that my granddaughter crawled around on the floors. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to stay again. Thank you, Monique.
