Motel River Bend

We had a spacious room with three beds and everything we needed, plus convenient parking out front. The rooms looked recently renovated, we didn't hear much highway noise, and the staff we spoke to were great and accommodating. The bed was the main disappointment, it sinks in when you lie down.

Pubs, the main street, and 24-hour petrol station diners are all an easy walk away. The truck noise was minimal and didn't disturb my sleep, and I had a super comfortable stay. The room was spotless and large, with a comfortable bed and linen, fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee, well, tea. They may have forgotten the coffee sachets, but I had some with me. The narrow bathroom was still perfectly workable and very clean. I arrived late and got a text with clear instructions for opening the key safe. One small suggestion: when someone books a late arrival, staff could ask if they'd like milk in the room, since the compendium says to ask on arrival. Luckily I had some with me, as it was late and I couldn't be bothered going out. A first-world problem, I know. The parking area was very neat too. Thanks for a lovely surprise, I'll definitely be back.

The room was clean and recently renovated, and although it wasn't large, it was big enough for one night. The woman at reception was friendly and helpful, with dinner suggestions for us. The downside was road noise through the night. It's conveniently on the main highway from Melbourne towards Adelaide.

The Riverbend Motel had everything I needed, and I'll definitely return. I was in town for the Spring Nationals drag racing event, just 8km away. Staff checked each day to see if I needed anything, and my room was clean, comfortable, and fitted with every modern convenience. Thank you!
