Sophia was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully presented, and breakfast was delicious, a perfect way to start the day. We had a lovely stay at Barossa House and will be back. Highly recommend.

We loved our anniversary stay and are already planning to return with friends. Sophia went above and beyond, and the old house has a lovely family feel. Breakfast was amazing, too. They also arranged a brilliant private wine tour at a reasonable price, tailored to the wines we enjoy. 10/10.

Sophia and Leo were so friendly and welcoming, and Oscar, the resident 16-year-old ginger cat, made us feel right at home. Breakfast was excellent: fruit and oats with Greek yoghurt, followed by eggs Benedict and toast. Our Eucalyptus room had its own entrance and seemed to have been recently refurbished. It felt modern, with lovely touches, a very comfortable bed and pillows, quality blankets and throws, and even some port for a nightcap. The location was hard to beat, right where we wanted to be in the mid-north of the Barossa, with most places only ten minutes away. Much better than a big, faceless chain hotel.
