Alicia was so kind, she called the day before we arrived to check in. The cottage was quaint, with a lovely, very clean garden. The rye bread, cheese platter and wine were thoughtful extras, and breakfast was fantastic. It was quiet and warm in the middle of winter, and close enough to walk to the Main Street. We had a lovely time, thank you.

Breakfast was the best we've EVER had in all our travels here and overseas: eggs, bacon, fresh bread, different mueslis, mushrooms, tomatoes, juice, milk, coffee and tea. We stayed in the lovely cottage for three nights, and it was just what we hoped for. The beds were comfortable and the gardens lovely. Tanunda's main street is a short walk away for restaurants and gift shopping, and the many wineries we visited were an easy drive. We'd certainly return to Miriam’s if we're back in The Barossa.

We booked Miriam’s Cottage for a friend's special birthday, hoping for a lovely weekend, and the little cottage was even better than I hoped. It was immaculate, private, quaint and beautifully presented, with a gorgeous garden. The generous wine and cheese platter on arrival and the beautiful breakfast were such a treat. One of the loveliest B&Bs I've stayed in, and great value too. It's centrally placed in the stunning Barossa Valley. A perfect getaway and a real credit to the owners. We'll be back!

We give Miriams Cottage 5 out of 5 and recommend it for its central spot in Tanunda, close to many Barossa highlights. There are wineries and cellar doors, the brewrey, and plenty of lunch and dinner places nearby, including Barossa Brewrey, Langmeil, 1918 and Ferment Asian. When customers ask us where to stay on a return visit, we suggest Miriams Cottage because it's well placed in the lovely township.
