They even had a good range of milks, including oat and lactose-free, which was a nice touch. The pod machine was great and the beds were comfortable. It was tidy and clean, and though it’s near the main road, it wasn’t too noisy. A car is best since most dining options are in town.

There’s a big off-street parking area for caravans, trailers or small trucks, and getting in from the road is easy. The rooms are extremely clean and well equipped. The BBQ area has everything needed for cooking and cleaning, and the staff and owners were very friendly. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious, bright and airy, with large windows on both walls, and the parking and grounds were great. The linen, cleanliness and kitchenette supplies were excellent. We travel a lot and have stayed in many motels, and this is one of the best. The mall is about a five-minute drive away, so the location is convenient. Anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Taree can definitely trust Taree Country Motel.

Anthony and Michelle kindly changed our arrival date after I mistakenly booked the wrong dates. Their friendly reminder alerted me to the problem, and Anthony greeted us on arrival and gave us Room 15. The motel is all on one level, with plenty of parking right outside the room. It’s compact but comfortable, with everything you need: a microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine and a range of capsules, crockery, cutlery, and an iron and ironing board. There’s a small table with two seats, plus two large comfortable lounge chairs in front of the wall-mounted TV. I watched the cricket. The queen bed was comfortable and came with plenty of pillows and extra cushions. The bathroom is small but adequate, with a shower, basin and toilet. The shower itself is quite small, but the water was hot and flowed well. The curtain was long enough to keep water off the floor, which was a big plus. Anthony also gave me a map and suggestions for places to eat in Taree. There’s a small outdoor pool for cooling off after a drive, though it’s not big enough for serious swimming. Highly recommended for an overnight stay, just a short drive from the main centre.
