The cabin was roomy and clean, with plenty of storage, in-room essentials, a comfortable bed and great pillows. Guest Wi-Fi and a smart TV with streaming options were handy too. The Inn's gardens and grounds are well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived. There were a few interruptions, though. My shower went cold soon after I got in at 5.30pm, and I'm not sure why the hot water stopped. My husband had no trouble getting a hot shower at 8pm. I could hear the TV or people talking next door while in bed, even with our TV on, and highway traffic carried through during the night. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay.

The hosts were really friendly, and the rooms were clean with good facilities. There's a free coffee machine in the shared dining room, and the place was easy to find. No dedicated EV charging, but if you bring a portable charger, ask at Reception. You may be able to plug in overnight when the accommodation isn't fully booked and the electricity load is lower.

The cabin was generous for the price, and the tavern has a courtesy bus. Great value for money, though it’s 2pm out of town.

We had a nice night while heading south. What was called a 'room' turned out to be half a house, and the facilities were fine. A big plus is that it isn't on the highway, unlike many other motels in Tenterfield.
