We spent most of the afternoons at the spa and wandering around the property, then took our time with the mornings. Sanctuary in the Pocket is tucked into nature and feels peaceful, private, and thoughtfully put together. My sister and I stayed for a weekend, and we both left feeling restored. Already hoping to come back.

Mike and Lisa made us feel welcome from the start, taking time to show us how things worked and tell us about the grounds nearby. We were celebrating our anniversary at Sanctuary in the Pocket, staying in the lovely Bliss Cottage. It felt like our own little hideaway and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. We'd happily return.

The fresh eggs, honey, and biscuits were a lovely welcome, and Mike was helpful and warm throughout. We came for our honeymoon and loved how peaceful and secluded it felt, just outside Byron Bay. The spa and pool were fantastic, and we were sad to leave. We also enjoyed checking out the local spots our host suggested. We'd love to come back!

We were so settled in our little hideaway that heading out was the hardest part. Mike and Lisa welcomed us like old friends and suggested some good places to eat and visit. My husband and I spent three relaxing nights at The Retreat, and it was just what we needed to unwind away from the daily grind.

There are quiet corners everywhere, with trees, birds, and even a bubbling brook to enjoy. My husband and I stayed in the guest cottage last week and loved the accommodation and its surroundings. Lisa and Mike were very friendly and made sure we had what we needed for a luxurious getaway. They made us feel right at home. Sanctuary in the Pocket is a lovely place to stay.
