The lamb souvlaki was great, and even the salads were amazing. But the chips really stood out, so crunchy and tasty. I seriously can’t remember having better ones anywhere. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food, I was really impressed.

The wait staff are always lovely, apart from the older guy behind the bar. The outside eating area has smelled from the drain running through it for years, but tonight it was especially disgusting. Our entrees came out cold, so we could at least eat them quickly. Paid $30 for a tiny bowl of spag boll again. It feels like they can rely on tourists passing through, or people who didn’t book early enough to get an indoor table, because there aren’t many other choices around. I’d suggest going to Buxton hotel instead.

We’ve had the pizzas here before and they were great. On Thursday night we tried the ribs and wings, plus a special, pork belly and kimchi with noodles. The pork was tender, the Asian flavours balanced well, and both meals were delicious and arrived quickly. We were shown to a table straight away, with outstanding service from the moment we arrived. We put a little money in the pokies and doubled it. Even though it’s a gaming venue, it wasn’t noisy at all. Great night!

Dinner was for a table of 7. One pizza arrived in the first 15 minutes, but the rest of the food took another hour and was only average. After that, we asked for a dessert to go and were told it’d be quick since it was takeaway. We still waited 25 minutes for a slice of reheated sticky date pudding. One of the younger servers was rude, and instead of apologizing for the delay, compared a random Tuesday’s wait times with New Years Day.
