Flying Spur Motel

Anne made sure we had a lovely stay during our four nights here for a hockey tournament. The location worked perfectly for Toowoomba hockey club, and a small shopping centre with Domino's, Merlo coffee, a small supermarket, and a bottle shop was an easy walk away. We had a two-bed room with a kitchen and living area. Some furniture was in the process of being updated, but the room was spotless and comfortable. We arrived cold and tired at 9pm, and Anne had thoughtfully turned on the heating, which made it very welcoming. There's also a washing machine and dryer to use for free, with a gold coin donation for detergent. Thanks again, Anne. Highly recommend staying here!

The motel is handy to Wyalla Plaza, which has everything you need, and we appreciated the snacks provided. Our unit was very clean and the bed comfortable. Management and staff were friendly and easy to approach, making the whole stay warm and welcoming. I'd recommend it and stay again.

The owners are lovely and made us feel like old friends. The new owners have made lots of improvements, and it really feels good value for money. Though the place is quite old, it's spotlessly clean and homely. The shower was lovely and hot, the bed comfy, and our room had new quiet air con. I'll be back!

It's a little way out of the CBD, which helps keep things nice and quiet. Travelling with my wife, we'll definitely stay again. The rooms were spotless and well designed, with a separate basin, toilet, and shower, and the bed was perfect. There was also a whole range of tasty snacks in the room, all complimentary, which I've never seen before. A lovely little motel with perfect rooms at a very reasonable rate.
