The camp kitchen was clean and welcoming, and the location made it easy to get to the beach and nearby food and drink options. We had a wonderful camping stay at Discovery Parks - Hervey Bay. The amenities were spotless and well looked after, and the staff, both in the office and around the grounds, were incredibly friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was sparkling and inviting. We saw staff checking the water several times a day, which was reassuring and showed how much they cared about guests’ comfort and safety. We’d happily stay again.

Our daughter loved trying ping pong in the games room and playing on the jumping pillow. The room is dated, but it’s very well equipped. The pool was fantastic and kept at a comfortable temperature, and the ensuite was clean and well stocked. We spent a week at Discovery Parks – Torquay on Fraser Street and had a great stay. We asked to be close to the jumping pillow and pool, and the staff happily arranged it. They were genuinely lovely throughout. Great spot, close to the beaches.

The manager, Amanda, and her team were extremely friendly and helpful. They supported us through a medical emergency and checked in later to make sure we were okay. The other guests were friendly too. We loved how close the park is to the main Esplanade, while still being quiet among the trees and lagoon. It’s beautifully kept even when busy. Our ensuite site had a modern, clean ensuite, and the camp kitchen was great. We highly recommend this caravan park and look forward to coming back.

There’s heaps to do for kids and adults, from tennis, a basketball hoop and a games room to two pools, a jumping pillow, carts, and feeding the turtles and ducks. The lake with its turtles is an amazing extra. The grounds kitchen was really well equipped and very clean, too. The park was lovely, with friendly staff at the entrance and clean, well-maintained grounds. The boulevard is just a four-minute walk away. Thank you :)

There was so much for the kids, including kids club, plenty of room to ride bikes, movie nights, breakfast gatherings and lots of other activities run by the park staff. The lake winding through the grounds is home to ducks, turtles, eels and fish, and reception has free food to feed them. We stayed eight nights over Christmas and New Year. Our site was excellent, opposite the amenities and pool at the back of the park, past the lake crossing, and it was very clean. The park is huge, but we were comfortable throughout and would come back without hesitation. Thanks for a wonderful stay, everyone!
