We stopped for lunch while riding the Tallarook to Yea rail trail, and Melissa looked after us with a friendly welcome and attentive service. The berry smoothies were refreshing and “berrylicious.” The salmon and pork wok were good picks, and portions were generous. The parma wasn't quite country pub quality, as the cheese could have spent longer under the grill, but it came with a generous serving and a great side salad. It's a lovely spot, with lots of shaded outdoor seating and somewhere to park bikes. Prices were reasonable, and there's a good choice of snacks, lunch, and sweet treats. Glad we stopped in, and happy to recommend it.

The grounds were beautifully kept, and we had a delicious meal on the outside deck. Prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly and efficient, both when I called to book ahead and at the restaurant itself. We stopped here while travelling and found it a great location. Thanks again, and congratulations on a lovely venue and setting. Danny and Kate

There are plenty of seats around the property for taking in the mountain views, and the Rail Trail is just across the road for a ride and more scenery. Seymour, with its shops and pubs, is close by too. We booked the cabins at the last minute, and the hosts were so accommodating. They went out of their way to get the gorgeous cabin ready for our escape.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I had the huge open steak sandwich for lunch while spending the weekend in Seymour. It was delicious, and I'd definitely recommend this cafe.

A lovely balcony makes a great place to enjoy the scenery over lunch. We even spotted the resident peacock strutting around on the roof. Inside, the cafe feels warm and welcoming if the weather turns windy or rainy, and it would be cosy for Devonshire tea. Historic photos line the walls, and local artists' work is displayed in the corner room near the entrance. We stopped for Saturday lunch after walking part of the Rail Trail. The staff were friendly, the meals generous, and it made for an enjoyable day trip from Melbourne.
