The homemade rhubarb brought back memories of my nan, and the whole stay felt lovely. Our hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the room had thoughtful decorating details and a really comfortable bed. I'd happily recommend it.

The gardens, front and back, are gorgeous, and we enjoyed sitting on the little porch in the dappled sun. Michael & Sylvia made us feel at home, and we've made lovely friends here. We'll be back to this quaint village whenever we can. Our guest suite had a couch, dining table and kitchenette, stocked along with the fridge. There were books, magazines, a TV and homemade conserves. Breakfast was hard to beat, with fresh local sourdough. The bedroom was plush, with lovely pillows, a great mattress and warm blankets. The modern, stylish bathroom had everything we needed and more.
