Easy parking and very friendly staff. The room was super clean and had just about everything you might need. The only thing missing was a mini bar, which you can buy from reception. River shops, a supermarket, movies, bars and cafes are all close by. I highly recommend 80/20 cafe for coffee or food while you’re staying.

The apartment was very clean, and the crisp white bedding stood out. The receptionists were caring and sincere: they had our keys ready in record time, greeted us warmly and offered condolences when they saw I needed extra time to park because I was attending a funeral next door. They also granted the extra parking time. Across the road there are lots of cafes and restaurants, plus a big shopping centre with everything you might need. I’ll definitely be back. Call directly for the best prices, and consider the paid underground parking, which is well worth it. Otherwise, you’ll pay for council parking out the back.

I believe Punthill Tuggeraning is one of those rare gems. My wife and I booked several apartments for four or five nights for overseas guests coming to our daughter’s wedding. Nathan, the manager, served us professionally and took us around the floors to show us the different apartment types. He took time to work out a special deal for our wedding group, which we gladly accepted, and generously agreed to a few of our requests. He was courteous on a later visit too. Anna was outstanding with the administration and at reception. Near the date and on the day our guests arrived and checked in, she sorted out unexpected issues, used a practical approach and arranged things quickly. She always greeted us and everyone else with a lovely smile, and was patient and reassuring with us. I’m sure she’s an asset to Punthill and a delight to its clients. Neha at reception was also very nice and pleasant to deal with. It was a superb experience with Punthill at Tuggeranong. I highly recommend it to anyone or any group looking for a short or long stay in Canberra.

Oliver’s a legend. When we mentioned we had a child with us and the room felt a bit small, he kindly upgraded us to a larger one at no charge. The apartments are in a prime spot, across from a shopping centre with plenty of food options, and the rooms are very clean and have all the facilities needed.
