Parking and the facilities are among the best in the area, and the price is very modest for such a comfortable stay. I’m there often and have always been impressed. Katherine, the manager, handles everything professionally with a smile, and it’s clear she cares about both the guests and the hotel. She manages several roles with ease. The rest of the team are lovely too, especially the young woman at reception, who was welcoming and helpful. I’d happily recommend Ramada Diplomat Griffith and will be back.

Breakfast was included and really good, with plenty of menu choices, hot food cooked to order, and something for everyone. We also appreciated the two free washing machines. The pool looked as if it needed a proper clean, though we didn’t use it. Our room was comfortable, with cosy beds, a coffee machine, shampoo and conditioner, and its own effective air conditioning unit. The shower was hot and had good pressure, and the towels were soft and fluffy. We received a warm welcome, nothing seemed like too much trouble, and there was ample free parking. We were very pleased with our stay.

The rooms are consistently clean and the beds are so comfortable. Whenever I’m in Canberra for business, this is where I’ll stay. The staff are friendly, polite, and professional, and it’s become my favourite place in the ACT after trying many others. Thanks to Said, Caitlin, Ishari, Taylor, John, and the rest of the lovely team. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The rooms were quiet despite being between two major roads, and the area around Kingston is lovely to explore. There are cafes and restaurants a short drive or brisk walk away. Inside, the thick walls kept out noise, the king bed was warm and comfortable, and the shower had impressive pressure. The bathroom was small but fine for a short stay. The front desk handled check-in and checkout calmly and efficiently, with everything explained and done smoothly. I chose this place for its old-world style while visiting the capital, and paid a little extra for that. The decor has an art deco feel, though some of it is getting tired, especially the glass-top table. My hesitation about returning is the cost. It isn’t cheap, and other places are better located, with good facilities and staff, for less money.

The location was good and parking was free, and although the facilities felt dated, everything was very clean. The food at breakfast was good, but it turned out to be a la carte rather than a buffet. The kids' portions were tiny, more like toddler servings. Check-in could have felt a bit more welcoming, and it’s expensive for what you get, especially for a family. I booked because of the pool, only to find it closed during our October visit, even though the website says it opens in September. Staff said spring in Canberra was still too cold, which should be made clearer online. We also couldn’t cast to the TV. We were told the TVs are old and being replaced, but they did fast-track ours and upgrade us on the second night.
