We were a group of eight families, and the team were great about bringing extra bowls and helping with whatever else we needed. The toiletries were nice, the fresh linen and bright towels were appreciated, and the information catalogue in the room was a thoughtful touch. Rooms were clean, well kept and comfortable. The motel is well placed for exploring the town and nearby spots. Tumut is a lovely little town, and staying here made our stop on the way to the Selwyn Snowfields even better. Highly recommend for families or groups.

The staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. My room was spotless, well equipped and cosy, with thoughtful amenities that made it comfortable. The location suited me well, with local attractions and places to eat nearby and easy access to everything I wanted to see. I had a fantastic stay and will be back.

The location was probably the only good thing for us. Parking was awful, and at night we couldn’t even park near our room. The rooms are very dated. In the shower, the taps are the wrong way around, and I don’t know how someone hasn’t been burnt yet. Our mattress needs replacing because you roll into a dip, and even though I’m not tall, my feet hung off the end. The bedside table was so close that I kept knocking into it during the night. Tumut and the surrounding area are beautiful, but I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

A lovely little find, very clean and tidy, with friendly staff. It’s central in town and well priced. We were upstairs, but the stairs were an easy climb. Looking forward to coming back.

We only needed a room because our tent flooded while we were camping nearby. At 2am on a Tuesday, Paul at reception helped us out and found us a room, even though other motels in the area had refused. He checked on us again later that morning to make sure we were okay. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had a great stay.
