I was there for an office tour from 16-17 March, and the reception team was super helpful throughout. When I called to say I was delayed, they arranged late check-in without any hassle, and sent all the details by message so I could refer back to them. The location is great, near Tumut's restaurants and other places. The room was big and decent, with all the amenities I needed. Free high-speed internet kept me connected, and free parking was a plus. It was comfortable for a family or with kids. Fantastic stay and service, I'd definitely come again. Highly recommend for Tumut.

Everything we needed was within walking distance, and the motel is tucked away somewhere quiet. Our room was roomy, clean and modern, with a well-stocked kitchenette. We'd definitely stay again.

I cancelled my room well ahead of the booked date and booked another motel in Tumut, but later saw that the Merrival had charged the $165 room rate. When I walked to the Merrivale, reception was closed, so I called the number on the door and explained it to a gentleman. He said the money would be refunded in a day or so, but it didn't arrive. I called the Merrival and spoke to Shelley. She assured me she'd process the refund at 3pm, and did, with the money back in my account the next day. It's unfortunate the owner doesn't have the customer service skills of the staff. Maybe you could learn from Shelley. Great customer service from her, thanks.

The service was excellent, and parking right in front of the rooms was adequate. It's well located.

Quiet place, comfortable bed and hot shower. In winter, the bathroom floor and towel rail are heated. The build feels high quality and luxurious, with shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower. Plenty of bowls, plates and cutlery too.
