We left early because we no longer felt safe or looked after, and wanted to protect our family from further theft. All we asked was for one night’s accommodation to be refunded, but that was refused because it was peak period. I was told I’d been rude, though I was already stressed about our belongings being stolen. Nothing wrecks a family holiday faster than waking up to missing belongings and then being blamed for it. We booked late over the phone at Reflections Caravan Park, Tuncurry and checked in late that night. We set up, locked the caravan, bikes, and cars, then spent the evening with our son playing with his new RC car and charging its batteries for the next morning. When we woke, the RC car batteries, a power bank, and a fishing rod were gone. After checking around and confirming they were missing, we spoke to the park attendant. Her first response was, “Did you lock it up?” That felt incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. How are you meant to lock away loose things like batteries, a power bank, or a fishing rod, take them into bed? I contacted head office, and a staff member there was polite and tried to help. They said they’d get back to me because the situation wasn’t acceptable. Four days have passed, I’ve followed up three times, and there’s still been no response from the regional manager. The park manager was rude, abrupt, and dismissive. Over roughly $100, we were left feeling money mattered more than guest safety. Given this experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, or at Reflections Caravan Parks generally, if security and customer care matter to you.

I camped here for a day and loved it. All the camping sites are powered, so remember to bring electric extension wires. The park has excellent facilities, WiFi, and even EV car charging inside. It’s very close to the breakwall. Camping costs are a bit high, though the location and facilities may justify the price. I’ll be back.

Management and the area manager provided horrible customer service. We booked just three weeks ahead, so there was no way to give 60 days’ notice if our circumstances changed and we needed to cancel. They kept our money and refused a refund because we were outside their 60-day notice period. How ridiculous. Be very careful with this caravan park. I’ve heard other families had the same problem, and there are lots of similar reviews below. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

We’ve already booked for next year. It’s peak season and busy, but the facilities have stayed clean all week. The laundry is very cheap and well serviced, and management is outstanding, with great activities organised for kids and adults. This evening there was live music from a great singer and musician, plus a takeaway pizza van on site. The location beside the beach and rock pool is second to none. Wonderful site, highly recommend.

What bothered me most was how little was done when I brought the problems up. Staff brushed off my concerns, and the nightly price felt far too high for the condition of the park and the service. The grounds were overgrown, bins were full, and the paths looked neglected. Showers and toilets were dirty and poorly maintained, while the advertised BBQ areas, laundry and shared spaces were in bad shape or unavailable. Wi-Fi was unreliable too. This was one of my most disappointing stays, and I won't be back or recommend it.
