It’s a lively, homely place where you can cook, relax and have fun, and the location is good too. We stayed just one night and were glad we booked despite initially hesitating about the shared toilets. They’re super clean. The shower doesn’t have shampoo or body wash, understandably, so bring some if you book. The place feels like a home and is kid friendly, with lots inside to keep them occupied. We met some lovely people and had a good chat after dinner, then watched TV together. The kitchen has basic supplies, though we’d brought our own and used those. The diving and snorkelling team are at a computer all day, so help is easy to reach if needed. We had a pleasant stay and would come back if we needed to stay around that end.

We had our own room, while everything else was shared. It was all nice and clean, and the stay honestly exceeded expectations. We came for one night yesterday and will definitely book again when I come down queenscliff.

They put out milk, cereal, bread and veggemite, plus a few spare beers. There are good heaters outside, and sofas, TV and books inside. There’s even a dive pool if you’re into diving. As a cyclist, I felt very welcome. Best hostel in town. Thanks, team 👍

There was no room at all to hang clothes in the room we booked, so after taking a look we decided to find somewhere else to stay. We’d booked through the Flight Centre website, which didn’t mention that the rooms have shared bathrooms and toilets.

We spent four nights at Cobb & Co and had a great time. Joel, the owner, was generous and hospitable, and the staff were extremely friendly. There are handy cooking facilities and breakfast, essentials and coffee supplies. It’s good value and works for groups, couples or solo travellers. You’ll meet interesting people and have a good time. 10/10.
