Handy for exploring Goulburn since it's right in the middle of town. The bed was comfortable, and the electric blanket helped on cold nights. The toilet area in the bathroom was a little small, but otherwise I had nothing to complain about.

I found this place loud, cramped and poor value for money. Machinery kept disturbing me, and there was barely room to get my feet out of bed. The toilet was so tight I had to squeeze between two walls. There was only one coat hanger, a drawer about half the usual size, and tiny blankets for a large bed. The curtains looked filthy, while the thin pillows, sheets and towels smelled bad. Definitely overpriced for such a disgusting stay. I won't be back.

For $150 a night, our family room for two adults and two children did the job as an overnight stop. It's dated and very basic, but the sheets and towels were clean, the shower was hot, and it was quiet enough for all of us to sleep well.

Affordable and clean, with a cozy feel. It's a pretty standard motel room, with a tea and coffee station, microwave and private bathroom.

I got in around 8:30 pm and was greeted by a friendly, smiling face, even though it was fairly late. I liked the room and the shower was great. I'd gladly stay at Hillview again.
