The cottage was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and clearly cared for. We also found the hosts kind and thoughtful, always quick to help whenever we needed something. It's incredibly quiet out here in the middle of nature, with amazing views. Waking to birdsong and having breakfast outside while watching the birds was one of our favorite parts. Such a peaceful escape. We loved the stay and would happily return.

The kids had so much room to run around, and loved spotting glow worms among the huge trees. We had a wonderful family stay at Tall Trees Retreat in Apollo Bay. Dave and Victoria, the new owners, made it a really special place. My favorite start to the day was hiking 6km up the hill at 6am. Then in the evening, the fireplace was just right, and a sauna before bed left me feeling refreshed. A beautiful place for families. We'll be back and would highly recommend it.

Jeanette was lovely to book with, and her communication and service were outstanding. The property and accommodation were 10/10, with such beautiful scenery. We really appreciated getting to stay in a setting like this. We had an excellent experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The best part was switching off from all technology. We loved the views, the amazing cabin, and having the wood fire going each night. Seeing the Alpacas every day was so good too. My husband and I stayed at this lovely place for the first time over the Labour Day Long Weekend 2021, and it was stunning. We were sad to leave and wanted to go straight back, so once we got home we booked again for Queens Bday Long weekend 2021.
