The house needs some work, and the single beds definitely weren’t comfortable for adults. Our group weekend was ruined when we were accused of taking cheap plastic soap dispensers, which we hadn’t taken and which were in place when we left. The managing agency charged $160 to our credit card without authorization. The location is amazing, right across from the beach, but that didn’t make up for it.

We spent hours relaxing, splashing and catching up around the pool out back, and the house was perfect for our three-generation family holiday. There was plenty of space in the comfortable living areas for everyone to spread out. The high chair, toddler bed and stair gate were thoughtful additions, and I was surprised to find the bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap. We made all our meals in the upstairs kitchen. It was adequate, apart from the blunt knives, which we sorted with a trip to Coles. Caves Beach is just across the road, a short walk away. The little ones loved exploring the caves, while the older “kids” were impressed by the great coffee at the surf club. Highly recommend this lovely house for a relaxing, fun beach holiday.

It’s a very spacious place with a fantastic view, and so easy to reach from Sydney, just 90mins! The building’s a bit old, but has a quaint beach house feel and everything I needed. Reception isn’t great in the area, though it seems to be the same across the whole beach area. Just another reason to switch off and have a holiday!

You’re right across from the beach and caves, in what felt like the best spot in Caves Beach. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it!
