We were impressed by a couple of thoughtful things you don’t always find in a motel room: wireless phone chargers and a bar fridge with a decent-sized freezer. The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed for the night, our first stop on a South Coast road trip. Friendly staff showed us in and explained how things worked. There’s a bar table and chairs on the front porch where you can enjoy the water view while eating dinner. That’s why I took the photos 😀

The owners were lovely and helpful, and the property was beautifully kept. It was easily the cleanest place we stayed during our long trip, with a great location and excellent facilities. After checkout, we left our bag of swim clothes behind. The owner let us know and even hung it up to dry before we came to collect it. Their adorable little dog greeting us at check-in was a bonus. We’d stay again if we’re back in the area.

For a nice little motel, it was great value for money. The room was a good size, with a shower of our own and a mini fridge, plus complimentary WiFi. There was a designated parking space, and it took about ten seconds to walk from the car to the room. The friendly couple welcomed me, showed me around and left some complimentary milk for my morning coffee. They also had pamphlets about the lovely town. I’d recommend stopping at Tuross head and staying here. It’s on my list to visit again.

The owners were nice and accommodating, and the motel was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, especially around the shower. You can walk to the beach or bay from here. We had a wonderful stay on our beach road trip and hope to come back.

A lovely, welcoming stop if you’re travelling through southern NSW. The owners were so warm, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend staying here for the night.
