Pyramid Holiday Park

The deluxe cabin was beautifully furnished, modern and very clean, with everything carefully thought through. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond. The children especially loved the pool and feeding the birds. We were only a 10-minute drive from the hospital for our appointment, and we’ll definitely be back.

The caravan site was a good size and had an ensuite. The park and pool were spotless, management had everything under control and the staff were friendly. Planes do pass overhead, but we actually enjoy them. They stop and start again at decent hours. It’s easy to get around, with an IGA, bottle shop, chemist and a few variety shops two minutes down the road, and bigger shops eight minutes away. Good value for money. The only downside was residents leaving their washing on the line and treating it like their own wardrobe, lol. We didn’t have a room, and we’ll definitely stay again.

The park is well maintained, the accommodation is spotless, and the people are friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located for Tweed. I had car trouble and needed to extend my stay a few times, and management went out of their way to help my sister and me. There is some aircraft noise, but the curfew meant we slept well. Very good, and I’d stay again.

We spent two nights at a caravan site with an ensuite. It was dated but clean and usable, and although there are quite a few permanent vans, the park is well maintained. The site is under a flight path, but the planes didn’t bother us and there was no noise overnight. It’s within walking distance of an IGA, chemist, other small shops and takeaways. Very convenient for our stay, and we’d come back.
