The free lagoon activities, kayaks and little sailboats, were lots of fun for the kids. The accommodation has been great on all three of our trips, each time in a different house or apartment. We had everything we needed, with lots of space, a quiet interior, and a beautiful outlook over the lagoon and gardens. The grounds are lovely to wander around, with plenty of wildlife, and there was room for everyone in our extended family group to get away and relax. The resort is clean, relaxed, and well located, and everyone was happy. The main pool at the Novotel used to be available to Sebel guests, but now it isn't. Since the restaurants and bars are by that pool, we couldn't sit with a snack or drink while the kids swam. The kids, teenagers, wanted to be in the pool, and meals or a drink with the adults felt rushed. On previous visits, we could chat and relax over lunch while watching over them, so it felt like we had the best of both worlds, which is a rare thing.

We were a family of six and had no complaints, we loved it. The unit was clean and spacious, with excellent internet and everything a family could need, from modern appliances down to a garlic crusher. Both pools were amazing, and the kids had fun riding their bikes on the roads and pathways.

The house was good value for our family and set up well for seven adults and four children. Its decor is a little dated, but the large entertaining area was great for everyone. The nearby beaches were handy, though the surf beach was too rough for the kids. Most of us found the pool too cold, and the heating wasn't working. The main pool at Sebel was lovely, and we enjoyed water sports on the lagoon at the Novotel, though it was a shame pool use cost extra. The Novotel restaurant was good. You'll need a car for groceries and eating out, as the Novotel is the only place within walking distance.

Most things on the Sebel grounds were okay, but the grounds looked a little worn and the bridge gave us some concern. It was also annoying to be told we had to make our own reservation with the Novotel. I understand it's a separate hotel, but it seems like an easy service to offer.

We always enjoy staying here. It's a wonderful, quiet location, with everything we need close by. The rooms are very clean and have all our family needs covered. We love coming for a relaxing break, with enough room to breathe during the day.
