Brookleigh Estate

The different spots around Brookleigh made it easy to hold the ceremony, cocktails and reception in separate places, with great photo locations among the trees and by the Lake House. The grounds looked beautifully kept whenever we visited, and the new Lake House gave us an air-conditioned place to be before dinner under the jacarandas and fairy lights. The accommodation was the nicest we’ve ever stayed in, with lovely places to get ready and a luxurious room on site for the end of the night. We chose Brookleigh Estate after visiting an expo there. It was the best-looking venue we’d seen, gorgeous by day and spectacular at night. We got married there in February, and Jacqui and the team made the whole experience special and fun. They even offered to drive the bride, flower girl and ring bearer for their entrance, which went seamlessly. Planning felt simple because our many questions got quick, friendly answers. Jacqui suggested caterers and vendors early on, and helped arrange local furniture and cool room hire at competitive prices. She coordinated the delivery setup, and Brookleigh also had furniture available to hire for our styling. Everyone was welcoming from the start. Cyclone Norelle made the weather uncertain right up until a few hours before our wedding, so we had to keep changing the plan and setup. Jacqui and the Brookleigh team handled all those extra challenges and still made the day amazing, with service well beyond what we expected. Brookleigh was a great choice: there are lots of beautiful places for different parts of a wedding, and the estate can accommodate different weather conditions. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I’ve DJ’d countless weddings at Brookleigh Estate, and the venue always brings something special. The grounds and atmosphere make an event feel effortless, with a setting that can be grand and intimate at once. Most recently, I hosted the Twilight Wedding Expo with ENVY Event Group. The estate was glowing, from the setup and lighting to the energy of everyone walking through. It’s a beautiful backdrop for couples wanting a memorable day, and it’s run by people who care about the experience. Always a pleasure to be part of an event there.

The place itself is beautiful, but my experience at a wedding there on 9/10/25 was frustrating. While the bridal party were getting ready, Day Spa staff came in twice to ask us to turn the music down. It wasn’t loud, and we could hear every conversation around us. The building is very old and seems to have thin walls. With a wedding on, perhaps the spa should be closed for the day, since interruptions like that don’t create a positive atmosphere for guests. Staff were rude and kept rolling their eyes, as though hosting a wedding was an inconvenience. Given what’s paid for the venue and accommodation, I’d expect the function to be a priority. Music also can’t go above 80 decibels, even though the estate is in the middle of nowhere.
