The rural setting and lovely view were a big part of what I enjoyed, even though the cottage is only five minutes from Uralla. It was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. We watched colourful parrots in the tree outside and put out some of the supplied birdseed for them. The host went above and beyond, even leaving gourmet breakfast supplies, homemade bread and delicious homemade Anzacs. You don't often get that kind of service these days. The cottage was absolutely amazing, and I'd love to return.

We spent two peaceful nights at Grace Cottages, with plenty of quiet and privacy. The cottage was spacious and well equipped, and Gwen was lovely. She met us when we arrived with fresh hot bread and anzac biscuits she'd baked. It has that old-fashioned, homely feel with a modern twist. We travel a lot, and this was by far the best cottage we've stayed in. There's lots to see around Uralla, Armidale and beyond. The Gorge with the waterfall is a must. Take a break and visit Grace Cottages.

Watching the sunset across the valley with cheese and wine was a lovely part of our overnight stay at Grace Cottages. The real fireplace made it feel special too. The cottage was peaceful, comfortable and nicely laid out. It's about a five-minute drive from the town centre, so most things are close by. We'd definitely return if we're in the area.

I keep coming back because I love this place. The cabin has a calm charm and understated sophistication, with all the modern conveniences and a superb panoramic view from the verandah. It's a marvellous escape for peace and quiet.

The Wi-Fi can be hit and miss, but that aside, I couldn't recommend Grace Cottages more highly. Gwen makes sure the place is ready for a peaceful, private break, and she was welcoming without being intrusive. She even brought us homemade bread straight from the oven. Everything was perfectly clean and thoughtfully provided, from washing powder to good old Radox for the delightful, enormous bath. The king-size bed was very comfortable.
