The location makes this a great base, with the Penguins just up the road and town a short drive away. Bernadette was so welcoming and funny, and it was lovely having a laugh with her. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it!

Our host made the stay special and shared lots of useful advice. The room had a great view and complimentary hot drinks, and breakfast was good. It’s hard to beat the location for visiting the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade.

We booked this for a last-minute night away and had such a lovely time. The views were amazing, and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and tea and coffee were available anytime in the shared dining room. Breakfast was included, with several choices, all served fresh. Bernadette was really friendly. Not a single complaint, we loved it and will be back ☺️

Bernadette is a real diamond. From our arrival to saying goodbye, she went out of her way to make things comfortable and enjoyable. She’s a local and shared plenty of helpful tips for Phillip Island and beyond, including maps, photos and detailed descriptions of attractions and scenic spots, some of them less well known. The guesthouse was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay, with ample parking, and only about a 10-minute walk to the Penguin Parade. Breakfast was outstanding, and we enjoyed it in the dining room with a lovely view over the property and beyond. We even got lucky and saw a wallaby passing by. Swan Lake Guest House was a brilliant find and a great finish to our three-week road trip around Australia. We’ll recommend it to friends and family, and hope to return someday.

Bernadette was lovely and worked around what we needed. The family-run guesthouse felt homely, with comfortable beds, plenty of room, and everything pretty much immaculate. We stayed for a quick weekend away on Phillip Island and thought it was great. It had everything we needed, and we’d happily stay again and recommend it to others.
