The views are spectacular, and the cabin feels like a real escape from the mainstream. It’s comfortable and intimate, with thoughtful wooden features, pottery decorations and quality glassware. Sue and Aziz are experienced hosts, and their local knowledge was genuinely helpful. We’d happily return. Thanks to you both.

Sue and Assiz provided a delicious dinner, which was a lovely bonus. We had a wonderful stay, taking in the view and feeling surrounded by nature.

We love coming back to Uluramaya each year, and the whole family looks forward to it. The kids especially loved walking through the forest to the cute tee pee, and they got to try making clay tiles too. There’s no TV, which we love, so we stay up late playing scrabble and looking out at the glasshouse mountains. The place is wonderfully relaxing, with warm hospitality, homemade scones, a stone bath on the deck and incredible mountain views. The garden pottery is quirky, and Sue and Aziz are such lovely hosts. We can’t wait to return.

We had a peaceful weekend away from the daily grind, and the little surprises made it even nicer. There was a sign wishing Shane a Happy Birthday, plus complimentary wine, fruit and chocolates on arrival, which we hadn’t expected. Thanks so much, Sue & Aziz. We’ll definitely be back. Sue welcomed us Friday night with the fire already going in the cabin. After cooking dinner on the outdoor BBQ, we sat with wine on the Kookaburra Cabin deck, looking over the Glasshouse Mountains. The next day Sue gave me my first pottery class, something I’ve always wanted to try, while my photographer partner took pictures of the view and local wildlife. We both had such a good time. That evening we ate Aziz’s delicious Persian Cuisine on the deck. Waking up to that amazing view right outside the bedroom window was breathtaking.

The venue and views are stunning, and Sue is a great help throughout the workshop. We went to Uluramaya for a one-day pottery class and had a fantastic day. I’d highly recommend it, even if you don’t think of yourself as creative or arty. With Sue’s help, you can make something amazing. Sue and Aziz are also such lovely, welcoming people.
