Challenge Chaser Retreat

Our tent was beautifully set up and worked well for our family of five. We felt very welcome, and the property itself was beautiful. The common room was amazing, with games, a pool table, darts and a huge kitchen. We were lucky to stay here in October. Thanks for having us :)

Glamping at its best, with a fantastic living area, activities and a well-kept outdoor space. It’s a magical place to enjoy the country with friends and family.

We had such a fantastic glamping weekend, and there was plenty to keep us busy: animal feeding, outdoor walks, games, table tennis, the pool and spa, and even an outdoor movie under the Milky Way. Richard and Liz were so warm and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our time with Colin too. The place is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for making our stay so special. We’ll definitely be back!

The rain didn’t stop us having a good time on our second stay with Richard at Challenge Chaser. We still got into the toasty spa, and the pool was fairly warm too, though I need mine bath-water warm, haha. Richard provides 5 star service, the food is wonderful and the grounds are so well kept. The tents have comfy beds, plenty of space and excellent hot showers. I love the little verandas, which are usually a lovely spot for a cuppa when the weather’s nicer. With the rain, we spent time in the great common space playing ping-pong, darts and giant jenga, and using the chalk with the kids. The beautiful animals are always a hit with them too. Thanks again for looking after us. It was lovely to relax and unwind without thinking about anything except which animal made that sound, or whether there were any brownies left after Christmas.
