Miss Midgley's - Assembly Hall

Miss Midgleys has so much heart and soul, and the restoration is beautiful. I’d love to keep it to ourselves 😂, but honestly, you’re missing out if you don’t give it a try.

Our four nights in the Principle Office with our two small dogs were lovely. The room was comfortable and cosy, and having a little courtyard was delightful. We’ll definitely stay again. Thank you, Miss Midgley's, for a wonderful time in such a beautiful setting!

We loved the building’s history, and the restoration has kept its beauty while enhancing it. My mother and I stayed in the large Assembly Hall apartment, which was convenient for visiting family nearby since we could walk everywhere. We also enjoyed a swim in the beautiful pool. Inside, the kitchen, bathroom, and lounge were gorgeous, and the extra large beds were so comfy that we both said it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The thoughtful design and attention to detail were impeccable, right down to the vovo biscuits. We’ll definitely stay again.

As a school Principal myself, I loved staying in the Principal's office room and reading about the history of the school building and its owners over the years. The stories displayed on parts of the walls were lovely. We booked most of the rooms for my daughter's wedding, so I got to see them all, including the locker room, assembly hall, and drawing room.
