The air-conditioned room was sensational, and everything was clean, tidy, and well cared for. The owner/manager let us check in a little early so we could sleep after being up all night on a hunting expedition. We needed to rest all day before coming back late afternoon to condition our raid on the pig population. An absolute pleasure to stay.

We booked here for the night before heading toward Broken Hill, about 80 km short of Nyngan, and slept really well. There’s a 24-hour card petrol machine nearby. Heavy vehicles are diverted away about 400 metres before the hotel, and the brick walls kept noise from next door out, so it was very quiet. Our Superior Double was more like a queen size YEA!!! room, with an extra single bed as well. It was large, with plenty of space for bags, and had a modern, roomy bathroom. The shower was big enough for a 6' 4" Aussie boy, and the vanity and toilet were clean. We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon and got immediate attention, with our details already at hand. The staff helped us with big smiles. Do yourself a favour and check these people out. We’ll be back. Thanks for the hospitality, guys, it’s appreciated.

I booked a room at Warren Macquarie Valley Motor Inn at 10am on 12/08/25 for a 2pm check-in on 13/08/25. There was a communication problem during booking and they recorded my email address incorrectly, so I got no confirmation or cancellation policy. That caused a lot of unnecessary stress. At 10am on check-in day, my brother had just been taken to hospital, so I called to cancel. They showed no understanding or flexibility and said I’d still be charged the full $175, even though I’d only booked the room 24 hours earlier. No cancellation policy had been mentioned on the booking call or clearly shown on the website, and I had no confirmation email to refer to because of the email mistake. They offered credit for a stay within a month, but we don’t travel to Warren regularly, and in those circumstances I didn’t think it was good enough. It came across as box-ticking rather than genuine customer service. They also charged my card straight away without confirming my details or following up. They just took the money. Unprofessional, overpriced, and completely lacking compassion. Be very careful booking here. Once they have your money, don’t expect support or understanding if something goes wrong.
