The motel is a short walk from the shops and right across from the park with the Olympic pool, skate bowl, and play area. The owners were wonderful and did all they could to make things nice. The room cleaner was lovely too, and worked around my leave and return times when scheduling the cleaning. I stayed for two weeks, and the three-quarter-size fridge gave me plenty of space for food. There are two tables in the room, which was handy for keeping my food and other things on one and setting up my laptops on the other. The supplied wifi was excellent, with no lag or dropouts, and the phone signal was top notch. I also liked having a table and chairs outside each room, a nice spot for cheese and biscuits in the sun. The facilities were clean and the bed was very comfortable. People stayed in the rooms on both sides of mine, but I didn’t hear a thing, so the walls did a good job of blocking sound. If you have a high vehicle, there’s a second entrance so you can still park on the property. A very enjoyable stay.

The Olympic pool and park are right across the road from the rooms, and the motel is just off the main road. Service was lovely and the amenities were great. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the cleaning and upkeep stayed right on top of things. The facilities are old, but very well maintained. I couldn’t complain about any of it.

The outside and front look a bit dated, but the room was a nice surprise. Opening the door, I got a pleasant, clean, sweet smell, and the air conditioner was already on. It was clean, comfortable, more spacious than expected, and laid out well. Would recommend.

The motel was clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of room. The proprietor was a lovely, friendly, helpful lady. It’s well located, with a pool, skate park, and kids’ play area on the adjacent street. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Friendly service and a quiet, comfortable, clean room. The buildings are aged, and the rooms have that typical small country town style and fit-out. There’s no restaurant, but they provide a $10 breakfast package and reception readily has information about evening meals. The room came with a microwave, toaster, cutlery, biscuits (a rarity these days), tea, coffee, and bathroom toiletries. Rooms are on the ground level with parking right outside, so there are no stairs, and access is via a low step into the room.
