Comfort Inn On Raglan

We had to leave suddenly because we were in a fire danger area, so we called reception and explained the situation and short notice to a lovely lady. She found us a room and let us check in early. It was spotless and to an exceptional standard, with parking available. A friendly smile helped ease our worries. I can’t recommend Comfort On Raglan enough.

The beds were only averagely comfortable, and the pillows were flat. Still, the three-bedroom suite suited our needs perfectly. It had two bedrooms and a toilet upstairs, and the main bathroom had a lovely spa.

For a quick stop after our Great Ocean Road drive, this place had what we needed at a great price for the area. The furnishings and decor are dated, but everything was quite clean. We had ample parking and the free Wi-Fi worked well. The bed had soft sheets and was comfortable. There was a slight musty smell at first, but it completely went away once the AirCon was running. Climate control was excellent after the owner showed us how to use it.

There was some road noise from cars and trucks at night, but as a light sleeper I managed it with earplugs. The place is a little dated, though the carpets, beds, bathroom and kitchenette were clean and everything worked. We didn’t interact with the staff much, but they were efficient, friendly and polite. We were comfortable and happy with the accommodation. It’s reasonably close to the town centre and was very fairly priced compared with similar places in Warrnambool.
