We’ve stayed at Lady Bay Resort three times, usually for 3-4 days each January, and it suits those short visits perfectly. It’s clean and modern, with private parking, and a handy base for walking to the beach and the other recreation and sporting facilities around the Portobe Rd waterfront in Warrnambool. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

That balcony view from the third level was fantastic, and the rooms were clean. The staff were helpful, and there’s plenty of parking with spaces wide enough to be comfortable. After my second stay at Lady Bay Resort, I can see why it stands out as the best accommodation in town. I’ve been coming to Warrnambool every year for 10 years. My only gripe is that the spa has jet holes but no button to switch the jets on. Let’s get a button :) We’ll be back soon.

Ruby deserves a huge shout out for being legendary in every way. The service, convenient location and the stay itself were everything we wanted and more. We loved the place, and it’s ideal for a family wanting a relaxing getaway. Pro tip, book early at the restaurant.

The apartment had everything we needed and was perfectly functional. Inside, it was seriously well cleaned, though some outside areas and the window frames we could see from indoors were quite dirty. The decor also looked a little worn in places. Most of my stars are for the staff, especially the absolutely fantastic welcome we got at check in.

I spent almost three weeks there on my second stay and never got bored. From my third-floor room, the sea view was stunning. I loved stepping onto the balcony each morning for the fresh sea breeze and that view. In the evenings, having coffee while watching the sunset over the sea was a real pleasure. Highly recommend.
