Watervale Retreat

The warm, freshly baked loaf delivered to our cabin each morning was the best fresh bread I’ve had. The owners provide excellent service. Nights were peaceful, away from the pubs, though Watervale gets really cold after dark. The cabin was thoroughly cleaned and had everything we needed to cook, including pots and pans, plus an outdoor BBQ. For me, this is the best accommodation in the Clare region. I’ll definitely return. Thanks, D and T.

The location was delightful, and the cabin was perfectly clean. The care given to the details made us feel confident and comfortable. The warm bread delivered personally was a lovely part of the stay. We’d have no hesitation recommending Watervale Retreat. We had a lovely visit.

The cabin had all the necessities, and breakfast was supplied each morning along with a freshly made loaf of bread. The rooms were very clean, and it’s a beautiful, quiet place near Clare and plenty of wineries. I’ll definitely go back.

We’d choose these cabins again if we’re back in the Clare Valley. They were clean, well equipped, and had lots of little extras I haven’t seen in other units, especially the freshly baked bread brought to the cabin every morning. The location is amazing, so peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend.
